Obsidian (The Lux Series Book 1) By: Jennifer Armentrout

Starting over sucks. When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.And then he opened his mouth.Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot alien living next door marks me.You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. If I don't kill him first, that is.

If you have a twitter or facebook account you have probably heard about #DaemonInvasion.  This has become a wide movement amongst us fans of the series.
This is precisely how I came to find this book.  Twitter outburst of the third kind.  I was curious
lovedddddddddd the cover and bough it.  Let tell you this is one of the best if not the best book about sexy aliens I've read.
"Doesn't he own a shirt?" ~Katy

I would so love to see a movie for this book.  MOVE OVER JACOB BLACK.  Here comes sexy, cocky HOT Daemon.

The chemistry between the main characters is amazing.  Sexual sexy tension heck yes!  You want it you got it.  This book kept me reading till the early morning.  I cannot wait to get my hands on ONYX  I am dying slowly waiting for the sequel please!

I LOVED this book! Katy was awesome, she's the girl that doesn't take crap from anyone and especially not Daemon. After she discovers the huge secret that Dee and Daemon have been keeping, she proves to be a loyal friend. Her relationship with Daemon is bittersweet.....bitter on the outside, but sweet on the inside! The ending was a cliffhanger...and I can't wait for the next book in the seri
