I was truly honored to receive and advance electronic copy from the author. As a blogger this is what you live for. I was also super excited to find out the story is about mermaids (I am obsessed about mermaids).
Once you read the preface that is it... you are hooked and immediately submerged into the story. Who is Rolan and what is Florence doing with him????.
There so much attention to detail that the reader has a clear picture of what Ciye has created for us. The introduction to Rolan, Kiren and their kingdom is subtle and easy to understand. The relationships brewing are extremely interesting and you are once again drawn to the story.
Florence has been kidnapped out from a school field trip. She is taken below the waves to the mer world of Niemela. Presented as
the ultimate gift for merman Prince Kiren but nothing is what it seems in this beautiful magical world. Somehow Florence understand the languae spoken in Niemela and no one understands why.
She is kept hostage in his world by orders of the King. Florence will end up in the middle of a war between the mer and the
Darkness. With all that happens around her Florence is torn between Kiren, the
charmer and Rolan, the
only person in this world who has been pushing her away since the first day they met. Florence will have no choice to risk everything she has in order to fight for what is right.
I give this book 4 out of 5 hearts.
