Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought I would play for fun! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title and author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.
I came across this book in Goodreads. The comments were amazing and I wanted to find out about it so I began reading Sunday night. Bloody Hell! is all I can say this book completely took me by surprise. It's Beautiful Disaster meets fifty shades of gray. WOW!
Leave me a comment on this post for a chance to win an ecopy of this book I will select a winner tomorrow at midnight. Good luck!
Due to sexual content and language, this book is recommended for 17+ – Adult Contemporary Women’s – New Adult Fiction
Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.
Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she’s ever known, far behind.
With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.
But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?
My teasers...
“I don’t know how I got myself into this, but I do know that as much as
my conscience is ripping into my fucking ears, telling me to leave her alone, I
can’t. I don’t want to.
We’ve already gone too far.” - Andrew
We’ve already gone too far.” - Andrew
“…dwelling and planning is bullshit,” he says. “You dwell on the
past, you can’t move forward. Spend too much time planning for the future and
you just push yourself backwards, or you say stagnant in the same place all
your life.” His eyes lock on mine. “Live in the moment.” - Cam

I downloaded this book for my Kindle based on the cover art and number of 5 star reviews. I dived right in and stayed up all night reading it. I cried like a little baby. There are plenty of good books out there right now, but this is a great book. Pick it up,download it, borrow it - whatever it takes. It will stick with you.
