Lazy Monday

The Hunger Games trilogy is 4 movies

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was a box office success and it comes out on DVD this week.

We can't forget that this saga will be on screen once again very soon.  Full casting has been completed and the filming schedule has not yet been announced.  The first film was taped in Asheville North Carolina but I am not sure if they will continue to film there again.  I am sure that the producers will want to keep the filming location hush hush to prevent any pictures of the fil to leak.

We now have to patiently await for filming to begin and wait for the remaining three movies.  As declared by Lions gate the books will be turned into  four movies.
“Lionsgate executives told Wall Street analysts this morning to expect big things from The Hunger Games, a series of four action films that the studio will release from the trilogy written by Suzanne Collins.”
While the extra film release isn’t exactly a ground breaking idea, it was the first semi-official report tha’d heard regarding the possibility of a fourth Hunger Games film – and it wasn’t long before industry insiders started phoning Lionsgate for confirmation.

The Hob, a Hunger Games news site managed to snag official word, reporting that Lionsgate was directly confirming the four film structure – but wouldn’t discuss where the movies would be split:
We can confirm we have a deal that encompasses four (4) movies for THE HUNGER GAMES.
We cannot confirm any details beyond the below [the previous response listed above] at this time.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones begins filming on August 20, just one week away.  OMG!  I just want to see a movie poster of the actors in characters pretty please.

Exectuive producer Martin Moszkowicz confirmed that principal photography will begin next Monday, August 20.
